TTC revises service in Exhibition Place,
starting January 20

Update — Friday, February 17, 8:06 a.m.: Exhibition Loop reopens 5 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2017.

The TTC has diverted services from Exhibition Loop since January 3, 2016. While the loop has been closed, TTC and Metrolinx contractors have been upgrading the tracks in the loop and improving nearby Exhibition GO Station.

The TTC has been further detouring buses and streetcars since Tuesday, September 27, 2016, due to the large number of events taking place in Exhibition Place last fall and early this winter.

Starting Sunday, November 20, 2016, the TTC replaced streetcars operating along the 511 Bathurst route with buses. The buses operated to and from Princes’ Gate Loop.

Starting Friday, January 20, it’s resuming buses through Exhibition Place, although the loop remains closed for the ongoing construction projects.

It’s revising service, or continuing to detour service, along these bus and streetcar routes:

  • 29C Dufferin (Princes’ Gates);
  • 307 Bathurst overnight;
  • 329 Dufferin overnight;
  • 363 Ossington overnight;
  • 509 Harbourfront; and
  • 511 Bathurst.
